The tower is built by international companies. A newly developed “ultra-strong lightweight concrete” without sand and without water is used to build the Skytristar.
The primary structure will be made of stainless steel concrete. Mehmet Tuzcu will provide a new, super high pressure trailer concrete pump which he himself developed for enormous heights.
To build the Skytristar, 1,000,000 m3 of ultra-strong lightweight concrete and 160,000 tonnes of stainless steel are required. In addition, 60 million working hours are calculated for the construction of the Skytristar. When building the Skytristar on the top level, three tower cranes are used, each of which can lift a load of 25 tons.
In 2020, 33 test holes will be drilled to test the strength of the bedrock.
Approx. 150,000 m3 of ultra-strong lightweight building concrete with a weight of more than approx. 330,000 tons are used for the construction of the ultra-strong lightweight building concrete and the steel foundation with approx. 600 piles. Each pile developed by the inventor Mehmet Tuzcu will have a diameter of 1.5 m and a length of approx. 50 m, which will be buried more than 50 m deep to support the total building weight of approximately 1,500,000 t , This weight is then divided by the compressive strength of the concrete of 30 MPa, which gives a vertical normal effective area of 1,500 m2, which will then lead to dimensions of 36 m × 36 m.
Under the ultra-strong lightweight building concrete there will be a cathodic protection system “extra patented”, which neutralizes the underground water and prevents corrosion.
Pressurized, air-conditioned emergency accommodations are built every 10 floors (on floors G, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, etc.), in which people can get to safety in an emergency or in the event of a fire.
Special ultra-strong lightweight concrete mixes “extra patented” are manufactured to withstand the extreme pressure of the massive building weight. As is common with reinforced concrete structures, each batch of concrete is tested to ensure that it can withstand certain pressures.
The consistency of the ultra-strong lightweight concrete used in the project will have a very high priority. Among other things, it will be a challenge to manufacture ultra-strong lightweight lightweight concrete at temperatures above 40 °. To avoid these problems, the ultra-strong lightweight building concrete is poured early in the morning and at night. On even hotter days, an extra mixture (also patented) is added to the mixture, which can then be poured during the day as well as at night.
