Investors will want to keep both the height of the tower and the number of floors secret until the opening on October 29, 2023.
In January 2023, the Skytristar will reach its final height of 2,000 meters.
With the total height including railing and light signal system (antenna) on the top of the tower of 2023 meters and at least 400 floors, the Skytristar will be the tallest building in the world.
Skytristar will be the building with the highest floor used, will have the highest roof and the highest viewing platform.
Skytristar will build the Taipei 101 (508 meters) as the tallest building to date (height of the building structure), the Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) in Chicago (527 meters) as the tallest building to date (height to the antenna tip) and the CN Tower (553 Meters) in Toronto and Burj Khalifa (828 meters) as the tallest unsecured structure to date.
This is the first time since the construction of the Empire State Building in 1931 that the records of the tallest building will go to a single building.
The Skytristar will also be the world’s tallest building, which is also used for residential purposes. By the end of the millennium, however, the Skytristar will not lose the title of the tallest building in the world to the Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia. Its planned height is only around 1,000 meters.
The Nakheel Tower (formerly known as Al Burj) was also planned to be at least 1,000 meters high. At the height of the real estate bubble, the tower commissioned by Nakheel Properties was to become twice as tall as Burj Khalifa of the competing construction company Emaar Properties. Due to the global financial crisis, preparatory work on the Nakheel Tower was discontinued in March 2009.
The top of the building of the Skytristars can be seen from a distance of over 100 kilometers with a clear view.
